Are there any costs involved in the Visa process?
Yes. You will be required to pay for a few things. If you do not have a passport, you will have to pay for a new one. You will also be responsible for mailing your documents to Korea via an air carrier like FedEx and the price varies depending on where you live. A criminal record check, as well as notarization/apostille fees are also required. Finally, you will have to get some color passport photos and pay a fee at the Korean Consulate for processing the E2 work visa. |

Why are there so many English teaching jobs in Korea?
There is a constant turnover of ESL teachers as contracts are for a 12 month period, starting at any time of the year. The demand for English teachers is extremely high and more and more schools are expanding as Koreans are realizing the importance of learning English as a second language. With increasing needs for the improvements of English curriculum, as a step in implementing English education, Korean Ministry on Education is gradually placing native speakers of English into every elementary and middle school in Korea. On top of that more and more private schools are opening and with this increase in schools come an increase in the demand for ESL teacher jobs. |

Yes. Once we find a school which meets your needs, we will send you all the necessary details needed to process your visa. We will also book your flight and arrange with the school to have someone meet you at the airport. Our English teachers are also on Facebook under the group: TEACH IN KOREA-PEGASUS TEACHERS and you can also add PEGASUS TEACHERS as a friend. We suggest you join this group and add us a friend, to make some contacts before you arrive. |
